Tray ceiling at center of kitchen with painted tongue & groove. This photo shows the tongue & groove in gray but I would recommend white for yours. The crown detail detail is also along the bottom edge of the tray ceiling so you can conceal a linear led strip light to uplight the tongue and groove ceiling. Your existing tray ceiling was drywall with the crown along the top.
