London Edwardian and Victorian Houses - Inspiration
nice too, like the idea of a chair by the bath. A free standing bath and wooden floor with a large 'man' shower just given the space it needs. Like the light too!
not sure about the shower - but everything else is unique and individual. making this a room to enjoy rather than simply a functional space
Full shot of the bathroom
This uses reclaimed furniture with modern ceramic fittings. Would make any bathroom completely original
Clever design. Love the floor beneath the tub. This would be comfy to sit in with a glass of wine!
i love this colour - especially with the white and the wooden floor
I like this. fresh and uncluttered.
too cluttered, neither one thing or another
this also lovely and homely
same room
this is cosy
nice, unusual colours. This type of approach would freshen the current TV room. Don't like the fact the fireplace has gone.
another shot of this hallway and landing with beautiful stairs. This type of treatment can really add value to a house + its a style that you can add to when you see stuff over time
fresh and uncluttered. today with a lovely nod to the past. Another view shown in the first few shots of this idea book
we've got one of these chairs with a footrest. So comfortable!
double doors into the ensuite?! like the bathroom window treatment too
this has a friendly feel and would not be an expensive makeover. The white walls are supported by an interesting modern paper. Like the freestanding wardrobes either side of the fireplace and the storage above. Also like the traditional furniture and the white painted floorboards. Shutters are also a nice touch
Lovely formal dining room. Similar propertions and style to the largest reception room in Slaithwaite Road
another view on this room. I think its bare! Don't like the open doorway either. The room is large enough for doors in - even double doors in!
This is to show how modern added bits can work alongside traditional features. Light colours used again
Love this bath. the base can be painted whatever colour you wish for to change the feel of the bathroom quite cheaply. Always think these types of showers would be a faff to use!
With a nod to traditional but still fresh and bright. Love the seat underneath the sink! Looks as if its for storage. Like the tiles - although not sure about the color of the grouting! More pictures to follow of this room
white used in the hallway. Love the stair carpet! Always prefer original tiles in these types of hallways. More pictures of this house further on
simple white paint can enhance original features but still give a fresh and up to date feel.
Light, bright, up to date, but still respects original features
another colour other than white or cream - although I'm not sure this tone of blue would work at No 16. To me this house is more of an autumn colour house.. see how the light plays in the room at different times of the day
