Kitchen Lighting Assignment 2
These lights are no my usual style but they look great in this kitchen. It looks like stained glass and changes the brightness of the lighting. It gives the space a softer and warmer look.
I really like the modern look here. Its very clean and simple. The LED lighting is bright and provides lighting to the ceiling and to the counter. It has a great function and looks amazing.
This elongated look for the lighting is great for the peninsula as it could be lit up on its own and have enough light to sit down and eat or have a drink on your own or with someone. It is very simple but beautiful in this space and looks elegant.
For inside the cabinets this is a very good idea. The lighting is hidden and still lights up the inside enough to see everything. I really like the look of these as all the electrical is out of sight and looks clean.
I really like the look of these lights. They are very modern and light coloured which fits into this kitchen perfectly. The size is perfect for the island that they are above. They look like they would provide enough lighting and the frosted glass on them will soften the brightness.
This is very different from what is usually seen in the kitchens. The glass in the counter with LED lights looks unique and adds a fun touch to this kitchen. Typically lights likes this are seen in the bar but I like the look of it in the modern kitchen.
These LED lights have a very modern look. They are bright enough to light up the counters on their own and the valance from the cabinets hides the wires.
These little modern pendant lights add a calm and mellow touch to this kitchen and are a great fit with the wooden cabinets. The are placed to add light to the peninsula and if put into a separate zone for the light switches it would be a great little are to sit at at night.
This type of lighting above the island would be great to use by having it set up as a different zone on the light switch. It looks mellow and calm.
Modern is my style and this is exactly what the kitchen has been made to look like. The lighting is great for entertaining guests or when watching a movie or a game. By just leaving the neon lights on, you can see everything in the kitchen and it's not too bright to disturb the TV screen. This type of lighting also gives the space the look of a bar.
This is very interesting kind of lighting that I've never seen done before. It looks very neat but unique at the same time. I like that for some people this may be very useful in the dark if you come down to the kitchen in the middle of the night to get some water but don't want to overwhelm your eyes by turning on the bright ceiling lights.
This type of lighting adds a significant amount of elegance to the space. Candle imitated lighting in this chandelier has a soft look and adds warmness to the room. It may not be my style but it is something that would look great in a traditional kitchen.
