Love these open shelves (not all the stuff in them!) and I could see that either butcher block or even quartz could work if it was the right warm colour like this

Love this exterior - dark vertical board and baton composite or metal, with a complimentary brown coloured accent (wouldn’t use cedar shake though - would use horizontal metal or composite siding), nice architectural interest in the roof line, while maintaining a single angle roof
