For basement the columns is a good idea expose it and make a focal point lean a sofa on it not within its boundary
Can we have stairs like that would they be code compliant would they make the house less attractive for resale how about moving large objects upstairs

The wall mural is beautiful we should consider sth like that if we keep a big wall behind the open stairs
So beautiful and airy I would just add some old pieces to warm it up a bit more eclecticism
