have glass door company come in and quote ... shower curtain would be less money but isn't gonna keep water off the floorl....
This niche is kinda boring ...

That soft grey accent tile over the 3x6 and topped with chair rail looks good....
liking this sink ALOT ... but it might not work for me BECAUSE I think my sink has to sit off center in the base unit because of where the plumbing comes out of the wall......
I like the border on the floor ....
The topper piece outside the shower doesn't have to extend into the shower ...it still looks nice...

would I want niche's 'framed by the tile ... notice the lateral cuts in the top corner of niche...not sure about this..
thinking that base of shelfs inside niches could be the countertop material and the back of niche can be just plain old subway tile... maybe??
just thinking about the area above and behind the toilet ... how to use it .... perhaps for photos or decorative items? Clarice said it needs a door .... I don't think so,
wondering about niche ... and about using the same countertop material inside the niche ???

the niche...l solid pieces in front of each shelf...what are those? thin pieces of tile???
just like the matching countertop and step out PLUS it HAS to be white grout with the white subway tile....
Again, another example of the solid countertop matching material on the step over coming out of the shower...
I'm intrested in the rounded tile pieces that are framing the niche j---- couldn't thse be used around the outside perimeter of the shower like near the closet door and that tiny strip wall???
it's just an example of the subway tile inside the niche it's okay but definately would not want them on shelves of niches ... water may collect and keeping grout mildew free could be an added bit of work...
This looks 'sharp' in a good way .... i am wondering if it can be done with a softer color rather than black....????

i do like the undermount sink....i can do that ...but I imagine a vanity with legs ... and ability to reach under vanity to clean ... the feel would be lighter, more open (?))
don't necessarily like the color of the thin colored tile but of note is that it is on the upper 1/3 of the tiled wall - accents on the upper third may be preferable to splitting the shower in 1/2 visually by putting accent 1/2 way up the tiled wal...'m not sure ...
this would look nikce with bead board... maybe in the downstairs bathroom with a nice pedestal sink?
kinda like this pastel look in the niches...noticing their is no accent across the whole shower area...is it really necesary? Couldn't i do some matching pale tile thin piece between the subway tiles and the 6x6 tiles???
I am not opposeed to a VERY LIGHT tannish colored floor OR a VERY LIGHT pale grey floor....
I can't help but like the beadboard BUT in the upstairs bath would that be weird? Can it be paired with the subway tile inside the shower and beadbnoard outside hte shower???
I've been thinking now that a white base to a vanity would be all wrong with all the white tile in the bathroom....I'll need a painted vanity base OR a natural wood (that would be nice .... but a very LIGHT wood base...and with legs - so it's up off the floor which I hope would make the room look lighter and airier...
this might go with the idea of putting soft grey 12x12 on floor... small accent tile running across niche and filling back wall of nice....

Thinking about how to navigate the tiling adjacent to the closet or shelves which are to the right of the shower... wood frame?
I like the finished look of the top chair rail type tile around the perimeter of the room....BUT that may not work as it will not continue into the shower .... too choppy if i use it outside the shower but not in the shower? how high up do I need to go to match it to inside of shower if I'm trying to go 2/3 up before the square tiles start? ?
the smaller tiles on the inside shower floor must match the 12 x 12 on the bathroom floor ... same maker - just two different sizes... on the shower floor .... continuity in a small space...
