My Kitchen Plan
Notice window style/size for sun room, also FP against stone wall
Espalier planted lemons and oranges!
Double Dutch front door style
Note integral lighting at stairs
Enclosed porch look for the new "sun room" at back of Oakland house. Note the run of tall windows with bead board below.
Notice the stove in the corner--small space extra heat idea for new sun porch?
Neat coat storage solution for a smaller space and includes closed storage cupboard
Lovely room. Notice chair rail, wall covering, dark curtain rod
Look at window solution: for Oakland master....
Notice the change in flooring at doorway. Consider new "sun porch" flooring of tile.
Notice the two moldings on the wall, step down into space. Consider that openings are windows (in Oakland, the office space connected to the new sun room.
Oakland ideas: Against the neighbor's garage wall create planter that holds lower shrubs and flowers and trees behind (against the wall). In front of that, install a patio with fire pit, seating. There will auxiliary seating at the ADU and when in use, consider a plan so the two can be experienced in relative privacy simultaneously
Note shallow storage shelves at far wall
Wood look tile
Note storage cubbies at left counter
Thoughts for a "wet room" renovation on Camano
Aromatherapy shower head? Note the wine holder here
Note the curb less shower as well as the large storage on the left
Kohler voice activated faucet, will also tell CDC guidelines for proper hand washing method.
Note backsplash of handmade tile look: 6 x 6 white
Note blue (paneled) accent wall at bed, draperies running from floor to ceiling
Enclosed porch design
Note the antique (style?) door with the white painted everything
Note shower curtain is ceiling mounted, roman shade matches
Note window treatment with bed at windows
Idea: in family room addition, make center panel between windows a brick or wood surface to create warmth without a fireplace. Have drapes run floor to ceiling. Also, in master bedroom have drapes run floor to ceiling.
Note the drapery rod that runs along the french door windows connecting to the adjacent bedside window that sports a roman shade. The window to the other side of the bed also has a matching rod, but only a roman shade. This provides a balance in continuity of form and color. Hmmm...
Note the look of the bed in front of the window
Note the feel of the colors on wall, rug
Idea for ADU
Note small contained coat storage for back hall
Note message board on side of cabinet--idea for refrigerator cabinet in Oakland?
