it's cheaper to buy a NOT counter-depth refrigerator, along with the fact that you typically get a much bigger refrigerator for less money. given the approximate placement of this in the kitchen, I wonder if it would be worth looking at whether or not it's feasible to steal some space from the pantry (on the back side) to give the appearance that it's counter depth?
This house has two ovens - one located w/in the gas range and one wall oven, that has a built-in microwave above it. I think that this could be a very viable solution for your kitchen
