Kitchen coloring
I like the coloring (not the wood pattern) of the cabinets, walls, and color of the counter (though not the material). This is a picture i got from Lowes.com (J: I think this counter/wall combo looks nice together, but it looks a bit gross to me. The counter is kind of green, no? I can't discern the color of the wood from the pattern, which I definitely don't like.)
I like the cabinet colors, floor and the greenish coloring to the rest of the kitchen (J: Yeah, I actually agree with this! I'd be OK with basically any color backsplash if there's so little of it. I like that the countertop matches the splash. That's something that has caught my eye in several pictures now!)
i like these colors- but again, a white backsplash rather than blue so the kitchen could be repainted one day. While i'm not normally crazy about the dark counter, it seems to work here (J: A solid black counter feels a bit like a lab bench to me. Otherwise, it's nice, and yeah definitely a white backsplash)
I don't want a blue backsplash (prefer a neutral color so that things can be repainted one day) but its just an idea of the colors together. This could work. Maybe a bit lighter cabinet (J: I agree on the lighter cabinet. I would be more OK with the blue splash if it didn't go up the whole wall here. And I don't hate white counter tops as much as I thought!)
just looking at colors, not styles. Its brighter than i would normally plan for a kitchen, but it kinda works... but we can't make the whole house turquoises.... (J: I love this! The wall matching the lights is really cool, too. And nothing else will necessarily be turquoise because we will have to repaint the living room!)
