My Bathroom Plan
Several ideas that can be used.
This is a 37" free standing vanity. Would it be available in a stye that we can build in? Another option is to not build it in, and build the shower with a gap as shown in additional pictures.
Good patterns in floor, walls, and trim for a smaller, walk0in shower
Similar design as our bath. Toilet appears to be narrower, with the full wall, but maybe the light in the shower is offsetting the appearance. I like the open look of the shower.
Another option for an open bottom cabinet.
This is similar to the idea for our bathroom. We would have the vanity cabinet on the left side, with a wall similar in height to the right side.
Bathroom Skylight
These colors might work in our small bath. Light wood cabinet, dark counter and floor, and then white or very light walls. Use glass door and partial wall in the shower to keep an open look.
This is the side cabinet option that I like, a pull-out full cabinet drawer
I like the side cabinet concept and appearance. It would be helpful with the open bottom cabinet design, but may close the walls in again. We could possibly still open up a partial glass partition (4-8") on the wall between the cabinet and the shower, but it would require a partial closure. Would this be enough to keep the shower head in the same position it currently is in? Rough measures would allow a 6" wide by 12" deep side cabinet on each side that keeps the mirror size roughly the same, and allows shower water lines to stay in current position (if desired).
The "floating" vanity is recently used in a small bathroom design. It gives appearance of more space. I like the shelf and drawer concept under the sink, but not sure I like the hair equipment possibly plugged in inside the cabinet
Here is a wall / glass shower treatment that could work. Balance the partial wall on both sides for an even more open appearance.
A nice treatment for a shelf in the shower.
This is close to the same layout as our bathroom
This is the 36" size (what we need). It has two doors, and two drawers
I like the appearance of this open bottom shelf design, and open bottom for cleaning. May be impractical unless we store cleaning materials in the garage entry storage cabinet There are many designs similar to this so look for a design that best fits our style.
This is a "reverse" look at a partial glass wall and a finished interior / exterior shower wall. It makes for a roomier look.
The top mounted sink adds interest. It may be overwhelming in our small space.
We'd like to improve our mirror appearance with some type of frame and / or shape change.
Interesting contrast. Could do this with the north wall behind the toilet, and the east wall with the window. All other surfaces would be lighter wall coverings.
I like the shower wall option with the built-ins. The light maple cabinets and trim would separate the room from the kitchen, although I'm not sold on the maple. Other options?
Another "light" option. I like the floor. It could be used in the kitchen also with the proper cabinet selection
Another interesting bath design. I would add some color to the walls, but the light floor, cabinets, counter, and shower walls are all good. I really like the floor with the large tile trimmed with the very small tile. Expand to see!
I like the floor tile to shower wall utilization. Maybe take it part way up the walls and then finish with paint or another cover to match the counter tops.
Another shower wall option. Use the glossy tile (color TBD) on the shower walls, and then finish all other walls with paint?
I really like this concept with the counter & trim match with white tile in shower and patterned tile floors. Colors match well.
Another option: Trim out the shower door frame with tile used inside the shower. Then finish the rest of the walls to tie in the floor and countertop
Another option is to use a unique wall covering to wrap the bathroom. Our small bath might lend itself well to this to avoid too much complexity.
Good demonstration of how to upgrade the shower with stone-like panels and larger door. I also like the patterned floor.
Good story on bathroom makeover
Some good ideas. In particular look at all the mirror options to add interest to the room
I'm not a big fan of this particular design, but it shows a departure from a kitchen-consistent design of cabinets, wall, and floor.
This looks nice. I like the under counter sink mount and the multi-texture floor. Our space may be too small to accomplish a look like this.
This is a similar style as our current bathroom in the "before" pictures. I would not want a full glass wall, but a partial glass wall on at least one side (facing the south) would open up the look of the bath. Would need to move the water lines to the west or north wall though.
An example of a partial glass wall at the vanity. I would include a glass door, but would want the wall by the toilet finished. It could be the same material as the interior of the shower, or a different material. Good color combination of floor, walls, and vanity. The no curb floor would be convenient for getting in and for cleaning. Not sure if it is doable in our bath.
I like these colors, in the shower, and on the floor. Vanity is a little dark, but with a light wall, could be OK.
Wow, three shower head options. Overhead rain-shower, standard shower, and flex hose shower for seating.
