i don't like the blue color of the glass, could it be pretty frosted perhaps? could the iron work somehow tie into the design of the emory roth like cabinets?

Raised bar countertop...blocks view, but doesn't give you as much workable countertop real estate.

Forget the color scheme or the modern style of the kitchen...look at how the raised bar area blocks the view of the countertop from the dining room. Yes, but you lose countertop.

this is interesting, but wish it could all be pocket, so when it is away and open, there isn't a pile up of panels.
