principals and elements project
The principal of Harmony is displayed in this picture. The space is used very well with the architectural emphasis being the fireplace, all the furniture is placed far enough to give a cozy but not overcrowded feeling. The shiplap on the wall balances nicely with the weight of the furniture being more on the right side of the room while adding a really nice texture in the room as well. The forms play well off each other as the main forms are cubes or trapezoids with some spherical objects complementing them. The color is used nicely and seems to all be in neutral yet organic shades.

color
color: this is a great
texture
texture: this wall easily becomes the emphasis in the room. The texture added makes this section with the fireplace stand out even though it is white. The transition with color is great too, the eye easily is pulled from the chairs to the rug to the fireplace.
line: the diagonal line here creates an artsy feel due to the openess that the glass creates, it brings interest into the room and helps the eye travel easily up and back down the space.

geometric forms love the light fixture
geometric space adds depth and texture to the otherwise clean lined space, tone keeps it "in the background"
