Kitchen should exit onto deck. Ideally deck should be maintenance free without a railing to obstruct views. Perhaps a low stone wall on a flagstone deck with pizza oven, fire place and built inn grill with steps down to a patio. Tall wide windowed doors adjacent to the kitchen would allow light into the kitchen as well as a view of the back yard.
Need closet devoted to vacuum and cleaning supplies in the pantry or elsewhere.
Tall Lazy Susan in pantry.
Nice kitchen windows.
Counter top that over hang edge of sink are preferred for the seamless look and prevents the need to clean food off of the step down to the rim around a sink that is exposed. This is an ugly sink with the front end exposed. It looks like it belongs in a laundry room.
Built in cabinets, shelves and drawers look so much nicer than shelves with holes in the side that allow for adjustment of shelves.
Note lack of kitchen cabinets over hanging counters. Provides unrestricted work surface on counters and makes kitchen look more open.
Ugly solution to reaching high shelves in pantry. Need another solution which is not ugly and does not take up limited floor space,
More window ideas for kitchen to make bright and provide view of backyard.
Bright kitchen without island. Peninsula and counters on either side of oven substitutes for island and reduces depth needed for kitchen. Expanded window over sink gives larger view of yard.
Walk in pantry ideas. Note short depth shelves.
Large double glass wall shower next to hot tube makes room look larger and less cramped. Doubt anyone would use that tub. Better off with a sunken hot tub outside and Jacuzzi type hot tub inside.
Tile on wall behind tub is attractive.
Marble face and top surrounding indoor hot tub provides classier look. I don't know if I like the steps leading up to the tub. If green tub does not fit in with color scheme it might be re-glazed possibly.
Open design allows view outside of windows to yard and combines with sun room sitting area as well as dinning area. Similar theme to Tanya's kitchen layout.
View of yard unimpeded by deck railing. Patio sits lower allowing view of yard.
