West 86th Street Apartment, New York, NY
After a long search our clients purchased this three bedroom, 2 1/2 bath apartment on 86th Street close to Central Park. A 1950’s renovation had stripped the apartment of its prewar details and formality. So, to accommodate this young family, Billinkoff Architecture proposed removing the remaining walls separating living, dining and kitchen thereby opening the space up for maximum light and views.
The scope of work included new kitchen, bathrooms, mechanical systems and all new finishes throughout. Billinkoff Architecture worked closely with the owners to select all the finishes and furniture.
