Located in a Conservation area, the brief was to renovate this period property, which had been neglected and split into two flats, and to convert it to a beautiful new family home for the owners and their children.
We set out to design the conversion to maximise modern living in the new space while retaining the plethora of original period features. This complete house refurbishment included the creation of a new kitchen/diner, four bedrooms and the creation of a new bathroom (innovatively utilising an original stained glass feature), plus en suite to Master bedroom. A contemporary extension was added which related to the original building with rendered reveals to the windows.
