Lower Brook Barn
Lower Brook Barn was Shortlisted for the Daily Telegraph House Building & Renovations Reader's Choice Award.
The stone barn is close to a listed farmhouse and was converted for use by the farm owners so that they could sell the farmhouse on. Conversion work was carried out by the owners with the help of a small building contractor. Design was created in careful negotiation with the local Conservation Officer to include more contemporary features. A ground source heat pump provides heating for the house.
