If the exterior of a house is its face the interior is its heart. The house designed in the hacienda style was missing the matching interior. We created a wonderful combination of Spanish color scheme and materials with amazing distressed wood rustic vanity and wrought iron fixtures. The floors are made of 4 different sized chiseled edge travertine and the wall tiles are 4"x8" travertine subway tiles. A full sized exterior shower system made out of copper is installed out the exterior of the tile to act as a center piece for the shower. The huge double sink reclaimed wood vanity with matching mirrors and light fixtures are there to provide the "old world" look and feel. ¿Qué se entiende por cuarto de baño?

Esta estancia de la casa viene definida por los elementos que la componen. Pero, pese a haber puntos en común en todos, cada cuarto de baño es distinto porque el tamaño influye y mucho, así como quién lo usa habitualmente. No es lo mismo que sea usado por una pareja joven, por una persona mayor o por una familia con niños pequeños. El diseño de cuartos de baño ha ido evolucionando para ofrecer una mayor comodidad y seguridad.
  • Retrete: su diseño ha cambiado mucho en los últimos años, lo que ha permitido que un aparato sanitario, cuya función está muy definida, aporte incluso un toque de distinción.
  • Lavamanos: existen diferentes tipos. Una de las principales diferencias es si contiene o no debajo espacio para el almacenamiento.
  • Espejo: si solo hay uno, se suele colocar encima de la pila. También es habitual tener uno de cuerpo entero. Es uno de los elementos que da más juego en la decoración de baños.
  • Bañera: tradicionalmente era la única opción. Especialmente útil si hay niños pequeños en casa.
  • Ducha: más práctica que la opción anterior y recomendada para las personas con dificultad de movimiento por encontrarse al nivel del suelo.
  • Bidé: muy común en España, pero no tanto en otros países. Está destinado a la higiene íntima. Es lo primero de lo que se prescinde.
