This space was a blank canvas, it had recently had a new carpet fitted and was newly painted, but the client wasn’t sure what to do next.
The brief was to create something calm and unique to the client, that had enough storage, but still felt homely and inviting.
We added shelving for interest on the back wall. brought in some books and pictures that were of sentimental value. We installed a large clock, not only for the practicality of time but also to add interest to the wall.
There were practical elements like a high rise stand for a laptop to free up room on the desk, scented candles, chosen specifically for their scent as they were energising, help focus but also calming. We also added a filing system with compartments to organise the working space better.
