When we created the masterpiece at the cooktop, we used Kraftmaid Brockington door style with a chestnut finish. We created an alcove that would hide the hood and lighting needed in this space. We created arched recessed niches for them to set oils into and then we matched the arch within the drywall alcove. Right behind this is a movable island that gives them all the prep space they could ask for.
