Converted a tired two-flat into a transitional single family home. The very narrow staircase was converted to an ample, bright u-shape staircase, the first floor and basement were opened for better flow, the existing second floor bedrooms were reconfigured and the existing second floor kitchen was converted to a master bath. A new detached garage was added in the back of the property.

"After reading the stellar reviews on Houzz and meeting Kerry in person, we knew we had to hire him for our project. Boy were we impressed and happy with the entire renovation process and the transformation of our kitchen/dining/living room/guest bath!
The main reasons why we selected Kerry and TaylorPro were: (1) design concept; (2) competitive pricing (though not the lowest); and (3) professionalism. Even before signing the retainer, Kerry and his team put together a detailed design of our entire first floor (except flooring), including CAD models and 3D perspective views of the entire space. This was particularly impressive, since it helped us tremendously to see how our Kerry was able to listen to our vision of the space and transform it into something better than what we had imagined.
The renovation of our entire first floor started in April and ended in June. His entire crew, whether it's for demolition, electrical, tiling, or plumbing, etc., were extremely friendly, courteous, and clean, something that is not always easy to find (based on our previous renovation/house repair experiences). It was a pleasure working with all of them to say the least. As for timing, our project was on-time, if not ahead of schedule, for the first 95% of the project. We ran into some delays with reorders of incorrectly manufactured parts, but that's not Kerry's issue as far as we know. Kerry paid attention to detail throughout the project and were able to notify us of issues that occurred during the renovation project. Needless to say, despite small changes made along the way and minor adjustments here and there, we came in right on budget!
Now that the renovation project has ended and that we've lived in the house for more than six months, I can attest to the fact that TaylorPro's work is of very high quality! We have not had issues with cabinets, faucets, lights, or anything that was installed. In summary, our first impression of Kerry being a trustworthy contractor that paid attention to detail turned out to exceed our expectations. If (and when) we renovate our upstairs, Kerry and TaylorPro will be my first call!"

The main stair of this beachfront island home is comprised of a steel center stringer with 4” thick white oak treads and landings with custom stain and a glaze finish. Stair and balcony balustrades are welded aluminum posts and rails with clear, tempered glass infill and white oak cap rail with custom stained and glazed finish.
