Cullen Basement Bathroom
Here you can see I have removed the tile flange around the end of the tub. I took a piece of chrome tile edge and rounded one piece so the corner wasn't sharp and installed it on the tub with PL premium. The tub had to be raised off the concrete floor by 3" to match the shower base and also allow VERY limited access underneath the tub to hook up the center tub drain plumbing. The tub had a built in overflow so thankfully we didn't need to deal with that or we would have had to remove some blocks from the block wall :) I needed to squeeze every inch of space so I pushed the tub onto the lip of the shower threshold a couple inches, thus raising it 3"... The 2-2x4's under the tub for support allowed it to not put any pressure on the fiberglass shower base.
