Ideas for furnishing large room

These pictures are of a room above the garage (over 400 square feet). Need some ideas on how to furnish. The large blank wall has outlets for tv

    Great light! How you furnish would of course depend on how you intend to use the space. With the TV hook-up, I assume it will be used as a den/family room. You may want to consider arranging multiple seating areas - one for TV viewing and maybe one around a large, low coffee table for board games. A sectional sofa and large comfortable chairs would be the correct scale for this size room. The two rugs in the photograph would also work well in helping to define two seating areas in the room.     Start by arranging the rugs so there is a gap between them exposing the floor and defining the two areas by separating them just a bit visually. Try to leave the same space between them and at each wall end of them - in other words centered but not touching.
