hardware for pivoting bookshelves?

Interesting space with huge amounts of storage, which is always handy. Do you know what kind of hardware was on the pivoting bookshelves that conceal the cedar closet?

    Thank you for asking your question about the hardware on the piveting bookshelves. The specifics on that was left in the hands of my fabricators. I know that they were heavy duty so that they could carry the load of both the shelving and the books that were put on them. If you have a desire to build these, please contact me and I will contact the fabricators and find out more detail.

    Thank you for your answer. After I read your answer I got a wee bit curious myself and just googled "heavy duty pivot door hardware". While a group of sites came up, this one for the hardware http://www.epivots.com/rixson-h117-34.asps and this one for a project (with pictures) came up http://www.thisiscarpentry.http://www.epivots.com/rixson-h117-34.aspx/2012/05/11/hidden-pivot-bookcase-katz/. Sadly, I'm not sure either is a DIY project, but we may keep thinking about it for the basement when we get to it. Thanks very much

    There is a company called "Bookshelf Door Company". Or something along those lines. They for sure make a kit of hardware and you make the actual shelving and maybe even the shelving and hardware as a kit.
