This tile is not stone, but porcelain. There are many variations almost identical to it, some with more ( or less) distinctive raining. It has a matte finish and the size is 12 X 24.

I have purchased an almost identical tile at both Garden State Tile (Crossville) and at Wayne Tile. Both are located in NJ.

The tile is Athens Silver Cream, sometimes called Haisa, and should be available at Ann Sacks.

Everyone can get it. The question is are you buying direct or though a weak supply chain that has no communication with the quarry. There are quality levels on this stone as with all marble.

It is an excellent product. Used throughout the New Four Seasons in Orlando. It's "real name" is actually a number, given by the quarries co-ordinates.

Then as it comes to the USA it is called a variety of names and marketed as "super expensive".

It is not. It is in plentiful supply. But that does not make it cheap. The quarry will exhaust itself long before Carrara it is not at that sort of volume level.

It was actually found a few years before 2008, well many years before that then someone vein cut it and found it looked like wood. It looked a lot better vein cut.

The plan was to launch this product in 2007 of all years, they were late with the launch by 8 months and 2008 hit the USA, they did not invest any further and shut it down for 7 years. Only now 2015 and on is it really available.

The name Silver Cloud, Athens Silver Cream, White Oak, all the same product quarried in China. It is a really pretty product.

And more importantly the Four Seasons love it because it is low maintenance. Incredibly consistent and strong, a very dense marble/limestone.

These characteristics makes it perfect for home owners. I like this recent blog that uses it: http://www.makingitinthemountains.com/one-room-challenge-week-five-walls-paint-barn-house-lights-oh-difference-week-can-make/

Premium retailers like those mentioned above are a great option for the wealthy. Perfect for people without the time but the money. Another option is a company that ships in 1-2 Business Days and not 1-2 weeks. The sales person you speak to is the person who is looking at your order, helps pack your order. The warehouse is the same place where the product ships from is the same person you are taking with, it is a streamlined approach to selling boutique tile. Works best of course only when you know exactly what you want. If not then you may need a retailer or designer.

The prices and savings are incredible. That you have to discover yourself by looking online and comparing. Our Arabesque is $16.95 a Square Foot.

Silver Cream, Silver Cloud or White Oak Arabesque Mosaic Honed and $16.95 a Square Foot. In stock and ships in 1-2 Business Days.

Here are some incredible Penny rounds as well. Penny's just cannot get enough of them. Here is a picture of ours Penny Rounds in the Silver Cream, Cloud, White Oak for $12.95 a Square Foot.

Buying online is not for everyone. Retailers do offer some great advantages, they have qualified designers that you can sit down and speak to. For many, many customers this is vital part of the process of renovating a bathroom. Great designers putting together incredible bathrooms that you will enjoy for decades.

For the rest of us that dare to dream and wish we too could have a 5 star dream bathroom, then saving over 50% on a similar product is a very attractive alternative. To achieve this we have to go online, as that is where today the value and savings can be found. But again online is not for everyone.

We try to cover this in an independent guide [here[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/to-buy-marble-online-or-to-not-buy-online-that-is-the-question-dsvw-vd~3812051).

Again, online is not for anyone. But when it works, it works!

If it works for you and you know what you want then perhaps you can leave one of these reviews, or certainly get to feel this way :)

Good luck everyone. The industry is changing. So we just keep calm and carry on!

    Reviews, explains the savings.

Prices posted here are valid thru 2016.
