We are remodeling and trying to find a spot to relocate the refrigerator.

    There is a wood cabinet filler to the right of the fridge which helps with the door opening. Most fridges recommend 14" on either side for opening past 90 degrees, so if you have the room for that it's best.

    My kitchen has the wall between kitchen and pantry in the same spot. I am considering moving the refrigerator to that location in order to relocate the range from an island to the wall. I’m concerned about the ability to open the door. I suppose I could buy a left swinging door. Much prefer the French doors.

    You could consider a tall pantry cabinet or a tall broom cabinet to the right of the fridge to pull it further from the wall, minimum width 15".

    It’s on the wall that adjoins the pantry. No room to the right of it. I need help with layout options on this kitchen. Is that something you could help with?
