Help with Remodeling a Drawing or Salon Room

Hi,

I would like to know your opinion or recomendation on what touches needed to have a modern classic look. The couch is new and I am getting a matching one-seater chair. Do I need to repaint the walls? carpet? coffee table recomendation? Are the colors blending well together? Appreciate it.

    IMO you need some color and somme lighting and I do not think that lamp works at all nor the end table. I would not do the sconces and add art in those spaces for sure

      Are you in the US or another country? Do you have inspiration photos of "modern classic" to show what the term means to you?

      I think one chair is not enough. Create conversation area.

      I would start with art that you love and choose colors from that for your accent colors and rug…a more modern chandelier would move the room into contemporary …away from staid traditional ….as well ….not sure i would use black metals…you might try for brass or silver metals in lamps..tables..for more elegance and continuity
