Kitchen and Bar faucets for modern home?

hace 3 años

Looking at a few options and my head is spinning. Want a pull down spray type with an aerator, spray lock and magnetic dock (last two are good to have but aerator is a must so I don't splashed)

Here are the kitchen faucets model (I'm ok getting same or different for the bar area)

Rohl Lux(R7515) or Modern Lux(7520): https://houseofrohl.com/rohl/collections/lux/

Grohe Minta: https://www.grohe.us/Single-Hole-Pull-Down-Faucets/Grohe-Minta-Kitchen-Pull-Out/GROHE-CHROME-31378003

Grohe Lady Lux: https://www.grohe.us/Bar-Faucets/Single-Handle-Pull-Down-Triple-Spray-Bar-Faucet-175-GPM/GROHE-CHROME-30368002

Hangrohe Focus: https://www.hansgrohe-usa.com/kitchen/products/product-lines/focus

Hansgrohe Talis S or M

Sales guy said Grohe Lady Lux has no aerator but they use laminar style and it is good. I thought laminar means no aerator so...

Please comment so I can make my choice of the kitchen and bar faucets soon!!!

Sorry forgot to add that I do not like pull down spring loaded ones - I like the pull down hose ones.

I really like the Rohl 7520 and the Hansgrohe would come in second. Also, Artos makes a similar one.

    Hi @paddykk.

I am looking for kitchen faucets and all the ones I like are laminar flow faucets. Actually, it looks like we like similar ones!

Which faucet did you end up getting? Is is one with laminar flow? If so, can you tell me how it's working for you? Lots of splashing?

Please tell me all you can. I'm running out of time, just like you were.... so it's urgent. ;)

    Appreciated.

I went with Hansgrohe Talis and works very well - It does not splash. Did not go laminar as its not a hospital environment where the air quality cannot be compromised. The price point is good too!! I have decided that for the kitchen faucet it wasn't worth it to go high end - and spend way too much - its easier to replace if something goes wrong.....

Check Costco too and buying with their Citi Card adds an extra year ti the manufacturer's warranty, especially for BIG purchases like refrigerators etc.

@paddykk, did you get Talis S2 or the N or another?

I'm guessing because only a couple of the Hansgrohe which appears to not be laminar. I've seen so many complaints about the plastic button on the S2 not functioning after a while though. If you have that one, can it be "docked" with the "button" on the under-side?

They say laminar is for those "sanitary" environments, but 99% of the Grohe and Hansgrohe kitchen faucets have laminar flow, so that might be a US take on things.

    Thaks! I appreciate your help.
