Landscape Advice to cover a weird area of wall

To the left of the garage there is a lot of blank space. I was thinking about adding something to that area with landscaping to help fix the void. Note that it is cement below the wall. Any recommendations for landscaping I could do to make it look good?

    To my eye there is something undersized about that garage in scale with the rest of the house, which otherwise has some lovely lines.

    I would stay with contemporary lines and use a hard tropical wood linear lattice structure with anodize aluminum fittings to match the window framing . Using a narrow long linear planting box off center with a few bromeliads and a bougainvillea vine.
