Bathroom water damage?

We have a recently new bathroom that has water damage!! could it be the plastic water tray for shower waste???

    ask the plumber who installed the fixtures and try not to use the shower until the problem is fixed

    Hi there, start with the plumber to do a leak detection test. the room should be waterproofed according to AS 3740 so if you have water coming out side of the bathroom area it could be a leak in the wall or at the tap/mixer or water outlet. if you had a licensed builder do the Bathroom ask them to come back and fix it asap.     Hi, if the plastic shower tray is leaking it would probably have a visible crack where the water could be leaking from. Your bathroom should have treated with a waterproof membrane prior to fitting off the tray and any tiling. Check with your contractor that this has been done
