Backsplash and peninsula

Should the backsplash go out to the end of the peninsula? Or stop at the cabinet?

    I agree. Most pictures I see online have it end at the cabinet.

    I agree plus, you would have that light switch to deal with and I don't see any reason to tile around a switch or go to the trouble of moving it so you can tile around it. stop at the cabs.

    Or, you could paint the wall and skip the tile backsplash. If there's no sink on that run of cabinets, then you don't really need a backsplash. If you decide to tile, you can use either a bullnose tile or a Schluter edge to finish it off.

    agree with everyone above. stop by the cabinets. keeping it uniform and clean looking.
