Black and white is a popular choice. What design of doors in white are you planning to have? You can have your splashback in the same colour and design as your worktop and also add upstands too. Alternatively you can have glass but painted to a colour of your choice. Then there are always tiles.
So this is a laminate worktop? Several factors need to be taken into consideration here: type of door, matt or gloss worktop, lighting and size of kitchen. Gloss tends to bounce light off.
It has a chipboard core and is covered in a laminate is the easiest way to explain. Therefore it's not Quartz, granite etc. It's probably the cheapest form of worktop that you can buy from major DIY stores off the shelf.
Anything is durable providing that you look after it. In our experience granite is no longer a best seller and if you're looking for a more expensive worktop than a laminate one then a lot of our customer ask for Quartz.
