My client asked for a brown finish with black accents and gave me creative control. This is the finished product.

    The repairs and paint/finishing job you have done looks good (from what I can see in the photo). As for the colours? You've given the client what they asked for, which is all that really matters. Having said that, I loved the red personally and don't like the brown/black combo at all. To each their own.

      Looks like a very nice job, but I wouldn’t have selected those colors. The black might have been better as main tone. I agree the red was great. Repairing that as you did and doing a color to me takes this cabinet to another level. Turquoise perhaps. But of course, the client’s wishes are primary.

      Thanks for the feedback everyone. The client had another piece with similar colors so she was set on the colors. It really goes with the decor in her house.

      Then it is PERFECT! The main thing, as you obviously know, is the repair and preparation so the final finish is "fine". You accomplished it.

      Are you going to put some lighting on the inside of the glass door part? That way you would be able to see the detailed wood overlay they have better.
