Living room Hygge help!

We have just bought a house. the 2nd living room.is an unusual space.

I have images below with the floor we ate hoping to put down - a grey-ish oak. I'm hoping for a white/cream wall

does anyone have any suggestions of what furniture to match with these colours? a tv stand, sofa, small coffee table maybe?

We love the simple cozy Scandinavian style however I'm afraid of it looking bare and clinical

any and all suggestions welcome

I do love a pop of.colour

Hi Anne. I would keep the palette limited but go for a really interesting range of textures such as leather, sheepskin, cork, and lots of natural wood. Also try to incorporate handmade items such as vintage rugs (try ebay) and original art and pottery. A tan coloured leather sofa would look beautiful with your choice of flooring. I would suggest a palette of tan, warm greys, off whites and of course a bit of black. You could try Puji for furniture, I got a lovely TV unit/coffee table that blends with this style.

Hola MONICA: Gracias por explicarte. Si no te obstinas por poner fotos tuyas variadas y pequeñás, puedes encargar un vinilo autadhesivo, con una imagen de la más alta definición, que haga tu instrumento, o comprar alguna en un banco de imágenes. Procuras que la parte alta izquierda sea lo más neutra posible y pegas la imagen sobre el paramento completo, incluso sobre el frente del split. El resto, puedes hasta pintarlo a spray del color que requiera, para camuflarse mejor.

Gm everybody, My wife and me are trying to design our new kitchen, and we are a bit concern about its location in the house. This is a DIY project, so we are looking for opinions. As you can see in the picture, we are creating the kitchen room at the left bottom side and keeping a garden at the left upper. Our first idea was to locate the kitchen close to the living door (upper in the picture) but we would like to mantain the garden. Thanks in advance for any kind of help!! Rodri
