Need to design a wine MAKING room ...

I make my own wine at home, have lots of wine racks in a chilled basement room ... would like to design an efficient space for putting together wine kits ... has anyone done this?

    Wine making is messy! Lots of sticky grape juice everywhere...I live in Sonoma County, CA so I know wine making and winemakers. We always use grapes, not kits. Boy, is it messy! Think through your process and try to set up a wine "kitchen" for dealing with all the accoutrement. Think about a barrel and some larger bottles and how they fit in the space...best of luck!

    I have a wall of racks built in basement by hubby plus another in kitchen .... storage isn't an issue .... I just use kits & right now have a table in a large basement laundry room, but we are moving to a smaller house so will need to fit my 'works' in a smaller space ... usually have 3 or 4 batches on the go at different stages at once. Looking for ideas about counter materials to use, where to place a sink & easy ways to raise carboys when ready to bottle ...

    definitely lots of storage spaces, perhaps along one wall in order to free up the room for wine making.
