Exterior color help for Colorado mountain home

Hi,
We are in the process of repainting our house in Colorado. It is a well-known, older home in the area, and has a lot of character, which we need to respect. It sits on slightly over an acre of grass and ponderosa pine and includes the main house, a barn style garage, and a small guest house cottage. The current color scheme, with brown green and yellow, is outdated and we want something new, but also need and want to keep it in character. Any thoughts or ideas would be most welcome!
