POLL: Which upholstery fabric would you choose?

We have this chair on order however there's a big debate in-house about what fabric to reupholster the chair in. What would you choose?

A bright patterned fabric
A tradition tartan fabric
A plain coloured fabric
The chair doesn't need upholstered

    I selected the tartan fabric because as a professional I can see it will make the stud details on the top of each leg much more noticeable and also work well with the buttoning effect on the seatback.

      I agree, we could use two fabrics to brighten the chair up

      As it's small and a bit traditional I would use a plain muted fabric, maybe alternative colour on the buttons

      We think a plain coloured fabric with contrast buttons would look great.

      Plain fabric would work the best then jazz it up with different coloured buttons.

      Chair looks absolutely fabulous. Not sure why you want to re-upholster? Are you just tired of looking at it?

      I chose the tartan; it would be tricky to do - but the finished chair would look amazing!

      i like the chair as it is maybe i would put a bright coloured throw over the arm or a small cushion to blend with other decor in the room
