Hi! What type of beams are they?

These beams is architectural or structural beam? What is it material? And, the material of the ceiling is gypsum, isn't it?- Thanks in advance!

    The beams are composite box beams that were fabricated at the job site. It’s important to allow the lumber to acclimate to the closed-in (doors and windows in place with all exterior finish material in place) environment before assembling the beams. Additionally I use an interlocking joint where each 2X boards join; this holds the composite materials in place as they expand and contract until fully cured.

    An electric hand held planer was used to provide a hand-hewn appearance. An awl is use to suggest a wormhole in the face of the lumber.

    This technique generates a reclaimed lumber appearance at a fraction of the cost of reclaimed lumber.
