Im having a hard time understanding on partial overlay upper cabinets if the trim under the cabinet door is set back a little or if it is completely lined up with the face of the cabinet door. ? Photos - it is a little hard to tell. Cannot do inlay because of moisture and complete overlay looks a little to contemperary I love the inlay look Love your work !

Please note our Ice White Shaker cabinets are full overlay doors. When installing crown molding for full overlay cabinets, typically a 1x1 wood nailer is installed on top of the cabinet. The crown molding is then installed to the wood nailer.

Thank you for explaining the 1x1 wood nailer and crown moulding you used for the top of cabinets . Could you also please let me know under the upper cabinet full overlay door , is that a seperate trim piece or part of the frame? Is that piece set back a little or flush with the face of the cabinet door ? It is very hard to tell in the photo. Your response would be greatly appreciated . Thank you Tammy
