Would be really grateful for some feed back about resin flooring - Is it as good as it seems? I am thinking of using it for a an open plan area in a residential development approx 80 sq metres and, would welcome any comments please.
Once I've fallen in love with designs you could achieve using resin flooring. Developed for industrial and public buildings needs it has high hygienic and wear resistance quality parameters. For me personally resin flooring seems too cold for home as well as stone or tile floor. If you are interested in it because of some great (art) design for the floors, it would be great. Other way I don't see any reason to use this expensive material.
Thank you for your reply. I Haven't been able to find any comments in the Advice section from anyone who has lived with the product. It looks great in the photos but, what is it like in reality - both practically and aesthetically. Would welcome any feed back because it could be a very expensive mistake if not a good move. Thanks
I need to find some flooring that will be seamless throughout a large open plan area with underfloor heating. I am trying to avoid grout lines with limestone tiles, don't really want wood, polished concrete cracks ( seen this on other projects), carpet is not an option because part of it is kitchen area. I haven't used poured resin before so this is a possibility. It is important to have the same flooring through this area so it flows.
Have you heard of Beton Cire? It's like concrete, but it's easier to lay, doesn't crack and isn't as thick. You can also have it in a number of colours. Let me know if you'd like some contacts for this.
