Dual color combo for my kitchen cabinets

We just bought this house and we are repainting all of it! I am considering the idea of painting the upper cabinets white (not sure which white yet) and the lower cabinets sherwin williams sea salt. If I do, what color do I paint the wall? Same color as the upper cabinets or a greenish blueish white? Your opinion is valued!

    When designing kitchens I tend to go for some tasteful contrast. If you want to leave the cabinets a lighter color (like you have said) I would do muted lively colors (different shades of blues and greens) on the backsplash. A misty gray might look good for the wall in the kitchen.

    If you are feeling adventurous, pick a shade of one of your favorite colors and try it out on the cabinets! Depending on your appliances and personality it just might be a fit :)

    Good advice! At this time we are budgeting only for re flooring and repainting. But I'll consider the backsplash as an idea for the future.

    This photo shows the sea salt. I know the room is full of light but assuming it is relatively light what if you did sea salt for the walls and the next darker color on the same chip for the cabinets for a little more contrast from the white.
