    There are no rules in interior design. It just depends what else is going in the room and what style you are after. As long as all elements in the room work well together - that is the main thing to consider.

    I have ordered a tufted midnite blue sofa and matching chair. Will also use a love seat & antique chair both upholstered in white. Have drapes that are a lighter shade of your paint color. French doors, trim and interior doors are all white. Putting in laminate wood floors - not too dark. Have large cinnamon color wall unit that displays flat screen tv and my crystal collection - I still have to paint the wall unit white. Going for a classical look. Love this wall color. If this paint color or something close to it does not work I will end up painting the walls BM Decorators white but would prefer some warmth and not look so formal!!! Thank you for your thoughts on this. Also, not much natural lite - just 1 north facing window in dining room/living room combo and the french doors have eastern exposure. Will use aqua accents. Thanks again!!!
