Anyone on the West coast who manufactures Steel/iron windows?

I keep seeing these windows and doors but not willing to pay for shipping from Israel or NY

    Frames are painted steel.
    We used Bliss Nor-am, NY and Canada.
    Hopes and Crittal are from the UK
    Bonelli is from North CA.

      The shipping is actually a very small % of your final cost compared to the costs of the units themselves. You should compare the cost and quality (are they thermally broken?, painted on or powdercoated? NFRC rated?) of the units at your job site.

      thank you for your information. It's really not only the shipping- what if something is damaged and needs replacing? Frames bent, wrong size or configuration,color. time,time, time.

      I cant speak for other manufacturers but we ONLY work through approved shop drawings where the Client's architects/contractor have to approve ALL the details that go into each window and door, down to the smallest details. These are then computer cut and then assembled and measured multiple times against the shop drawings. Colors (in the case of painted steel) are from RAL stadard color codes. We take extreme care for the shipping of the products and they are individually boxed and protected for their shipping.       You have to keep in mind that steel and bronze windows are not production units - they are custom made, and the chances of wrong size/configuration are very very slight, and even if they were made, any reputable company will 100% ensure a Client's satisfaction because each project is a referral for the next.
