The management of the lighting system and anything else that contains a silicone chip was designed and co-ordinated by Richard Whyte using a Lutron Processing System. The project’s lighting, audio, video and air conditioning are controlled by this system and can be easily programmed and modified to suit the user’s need. An added extra is the iPhone app that allows you to manipulate your lighting settings from your iPhone. The project’s adjustable louvers are connected to an astronomical clock, which means that the louvers are programmed to work with the seasons. The louvers will adjust depending on what time the sun arrives at certain locations which varies throughout the year, depending on the season.
