This St. Paul Rambler was set in a perfect location, but had design flaws from the moment one entered the home and had an unwelcoming wall immediately before them and a blocked off kitchen which forced people to walk almost the entire permitter of the room before entering it. We removed any walls barring entrance from the front door and immediately sight lines opened from the front of the home to he back. The kitchen was enlarged and is now accessible from three separate points in the home. Storage around the area was greatly improved. The result is a main level that is, warm, light-filled and welcoming.
