Dated 80's kitchen needed a updating. This family loves to entertain and prepare meals together. The laundry room had to remain just off the kitchen and the family cat has her food and litter box in that room. We transformed the laundry room to appear as if it was a wine cellar. The iron gate provided a visual closure to the room while allowing the family cat freewill access ( between the bars) to the room.
