I was in-between Libby books and both the books Salonva mentioned were immediately available so I added them. I started All the Beauty in the World but stopped after two chapters. Not because I didn't like it - I really did - but because I wanted to look up all the paintings that were mentioned. I'll start it again when I know I have the time to devote to it.
Now I'm partly through This is Not About Us and thoroughly enjoying it. It's an accurate account of how families are made up of complicated individuals trying to mesh together - sometimes they do not play nicely. The format is interesting too and it took me a few chapters to catch on. The novel is made up of short stories, each with their own chapter and form a cohesive book - not unlike families. Plus it has made me hungry for apple cake.

Stoner, by John Williams, published in the 60’s. Quietly, beautifully devastating.

Stoner was excellent in a most unusual way. Spartan, pared writing but powerful. And yes, devastatingly beautiful. The politics of university administration and the bickering among scholars was spot on and funny.

Made me look! Here's mine, and yes Reader's Paradise is still around though I rarely visit it.
This screen shot is when I just visited it now to see that it was current. It is.
(most of these I have not "visited" much or certainly not recently but here they are.

and wow I have building a home too? How did that happen???

^^^ The best one!

I've narrowed my list down considerably.

Agree to do one finish for all the cabs - what is planned for your floors? That would impact my cab finish selection

I can’t find it now, but a while back I saw a cute one that looked like a little vintage candleholder. Of course I can’t find it now.
ETA: Found it!

I bought this one from my grandson when he was little.

Not sure it's made an appearance in a decade. Think it got lost in a move. She couldn't find their Easter baskets with their names after her last move.

I love these and can see how useful they can be. My house is illuminated all the time with electric candles at each window. When we have a power outage, it is so scary because this house is never dark, except for the room we're sleeping in.

Here's an oldie! The one above from @roxsolid made me think of it.
A priest, a pastor and a rabbit walked in to blood donation clinic.
The nursed asked the rabbit: "What is your blood type?"
"I am probably a type O" said the rabbit.
