Sited on a well manicured street in Mosman, alterations and additions were made to an existing single storey masonry dwelling to create a 3 level family home. The existing masonry lower level was retained as bedrooms and a playroom for the children.

The open plan living area with kitchen and dining spaces are located at mid-level, with a parents retreat on the uppermost floor which benefits from views onto Long Bay within Sydney Harbour. The built form expresses the new elements as lightweight timber additions which visually key into the existing masonry form to create an integrated composition.
