REBUILD THE SOUTH WING OF THIS HOME. A CRAMPED BEDROOM AND BATHROOM AND TOILET THAT WAS FALLING APART.

We mulled over the best use of the space and who was using it - deciding to enlarge the bedroom and integrate the toilet into a nook off the main bathroom.
New windows, all new walls floors and ceilings - removing conventional doors, replacing with barn doors and cavity slider ( pocket ) doors. This meant the spaces felt a lot bigger. Selection of tiles and fittings was a group project - with half the family wanting a neutral beige theme - and the others and myself favouring a rich and metallic feature tile, similar shade to the PIANO ROOM which is visited often by students. The MOODY tile eventually won over. In addition we did external improvements - new driveway and paths, additional tiling of the front porch and full downstairs repaint and some repairs. The list kept being added to - !! A very vibrant family with now a nurturing welcoming bathroom and downstairs bedroom for their oldest daughter.
