Wishing you luck today! 🤞 I too like the darker wood for the console and think it adds richness and balances the cherry DR (but not sure I would do more cherry). Just another opinion.

Thank you. So walnut, Kcooz? Walnut is on the mantel as well as the staircase in the entry.
I know we've discussed this previously, but is it best to have cherry only in the dining room? I could bring in more cherry for an end table, especially because I have one already that I really like. It's currently downstairs.
Until now, because of what I had that actually fit, there's been more metal than wood in the room. Do I "need" to have metal in the room? (other than lighting)
btw--There's quite a lot of room between the sofa and the window. I think I can use my favorite lamp there!
