That's really a creative, special gift! Nice job, Amy!

Gahhhh i love everything on this thread - so charming and fun! 😍

That is so cute @amykath. great to ”see” you!

While I responded earlier with a personal history, I want to add some other comments.
Money can buy an interior decorator to do your house or someone to choose your clothes if you don't have personal taste. Money can buy classes in formal manners.
But money can never buy integrity, kindness, or character. You can't fake any of those and you can't pay anyone to teach them to you.

Good one!

@rubyclaire YES! that is the one I saw! I'm going to replace mine with yours, if you don't mind, as it's the one I wanted to post. Thank you!
@mtnrdredux_gw the guy watching is pasted in but the water jet is not AI. Take a look at the edited link I posted...Ruby Claire found the video I saw originally and posted it - it's much better than the one I found, so I changed to hers.
@bpath, I think the jet ski is powering the water spout. Take a look at the video again, I reposted the one Ruby Claire found (the one I originally saw but couldn't find again) and watch for the sports car in the background!

@Allison0704 - me? Hide things? LOL! The bridge was the first thing we saw when looking at this property and to borrow a phrase, it had me at hello. It looks like a stone bridge but there's a steel under structure that sits on bedrock.
Your sweet pup will be 18? That's amazing. Wishing you only good days with her. I wouldn't call those cats feral - they have obviously figured out the best of both worlds! Footloose and fancy free yet totally imbued with the good life for the cost of submitting to occasional belly rubs. Clever little things ;-)

Amy your paintings are great!— you’re doing so well to have just started watercolors, they look like you’ve been painting for years!
Love all the pet pics❤️
Outside, great photo! (Teo thumbs up for the DH 😎)

Adding a photo of my kids awaiting treats.

I like the gray and gray together as well. It would be my first choice.

I love the chalky white with picture moldings. My dining room has this look right now but will soon be papered in November. when i try AI today it has been tempermental. I am looking at a few putty colors too.

I really like the chalky white also. I actually looked at a few other paint colors, but you had mentioned the silvery paint colors = I wanted to try to find a color that followed your thoughts. A couple of the colors I looked at are putty colors also (in addition to a few other colors).

Roarah! Wow! You are so talented. I do not switch anything but now I want to after seeing your beautiful slip covers and I think it is fabulous to have the vibe/feeling to change with the seasons. It is something to look forward to and I know I get bored with my space and think it is a great idea to mix things up when it feels right. I could never make a slipcover but I am going to think about things I can swap out to create a change for how I want my space to feel and keeping things fresh and interesting to me by doing just that. Thank you for sharing as it is very inspiring.
Roarah, your house is hardly dated! - it is timeless! The photos show a warm and inviting home, and your personality.
I have never swapped out fabrics, pillow covers or bedding seasonally.
